Christina Carmelle Lopez is a former U.S. Diplomat and Big Four Consultant turned Book Author and Keynote Speaker.

Christina Carmelle Lopez, MBA, MIA, is a former U.S. diplomat and Deloitte consultant. She has worked in higher education for nearly two decades and is an expert in organizational transformation, communications, and training. Christina is a lifelong learner and loves sharing her knowledge through writing and speaking.

In addition to earning an MBA in International Business from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, she also holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and International Studies.

A former U.S. diplomat, Christina holds a master’s degree in International Relations as well as an MBA in International Business. She loves to travel and spent years living overseas while working for the State Department at the U.S. Embassy, London.

In her latest work, Get the Degree Without Losing Your Mind: The Busy Student’s Guide to Study Hacking, Christina draws from decades of working alongside students and her personal experience as a first-generation college student to seamlessly integrate time-tested learning methods with the latest breakthroughs in brain science.

In addition to her recently published book, she’s written for various print and online newspapers, magazines, and journals, including The Huffington Post.

Christina also served as an adjunct business professor at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and a senior academic administrator at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.

Christina loves travel, art, and architecture. And when she’s not globetrotting or traveling to speak, she is based in her hometown of Los Angeles, California.
